Analysis vs. obfuscation
Analysis vs. obfuscation
Analysis is fundamental to science. Analysis breaks complex concepts into understandable parts (reductionism). Science creates and tests hypotheses to investigate the simplest parts. Once the simplest parts are understood it tries to combine them to understand progressively more complex aspects of the overall concept.

Antiscience on the other hand seeks to obfuscate. It focuses on complexities of a concept and argues that they can't be understood or that science misunderstands them. Obfuscation relies on common sense and suggests that what's counterintuitive is necessarily wrong. Obfuscation also focuses on poorly understood aspects of complex concepts and insists that these prove that the concept is wrong.
